Week #4 with Julie

It's been a great month having Julie on our Royal Court. We would like to extend huge thanks to her for her time and energy that she's given us over the past month. Below are the final 3 pages of her awesome tag book that she created with Queen Kat Designs supplies.

From Juile: "Amber is a wonderful friend of mine from here at home (we attend the same church). For the last page, I focused on a picture from last week - I was blessed enough to have just gotten back from the infamous Stamp & Cruise which I went on with Amber & Charmaine. The stamp set was perfect for this project as I was able to just ink "Friend" for the first 4 pages to play out my theme! Everything just went together perfectly!"


It was our pleasure to have Julie as our Guest Royal Court member this month. We will be taking a break for December and will start up January with TWO new Guest Designers. That's right!! We have 2 designers to share with you in January.

QKD Color Challenge

Using purple.. The QKD signiature color... Create 1 card. You must use at least 2 layers and 1 stamped image on the card. You may use any purple combo you have.. Adding black and white only. (if your image needs to be colored you may use any color you want see samples).

Now... kick it up a notch! Using the QKD signature color and add a pop of PINK... Any color pink..

Make another card using purple and pink using the same criteria as the first chalenge.

This is a two part challenge and to be entered into the drawing you need to do both parts. This challenge will have it's OWN prize drawing!! So, make sure you get your entries in before the deadline.

Week #3 with Ms. Julie

I can't believe it. It's already week 3 in our feature on Julie Masse. This week we will begin a 2 part feature on a lovely tag book that Julie made from the packet we sent her. Below is the cover and first couple of pages in her book.

Here's a snipit from Julie on her tag book: "I decided to make the tag booklet as a little reminder of some of the wonderful friends I have in my life . . . there is no way I could fit them all so I had to pick who to include based on who I had pictures of - lol! :) The first one was obvious, my wonderful hubby! The next 2 (Kim & Charmaine) are friends I have met and made through blogging."

I am loving this little tag book. QKD sent her some stuff from the October kit of the month and she really put it to work! Way to go Julie.

Today kicks off a week of celebration here at Queen Kat Designs. We will begin the week with a drawing. When you place an order this week between Monday and Friday your name will go into a bowl and we will draw a winner on Saturday morning.

Week #2 with Julie

This week we will feature another card made by our wonderful and talented Guest Royal Court Member, Julie Masse. This one is a fun and funky Black n White butterfly card.From Julie: "I made the card using Bazzill black cardstock and the finished size is 7x3.75". I used the iron on strip that was sent in the kit down the left side of the card and used a corner rounder punch on the 2 right hand corners. The butterfly and sentiment are embossed using white embossing powder. I used one of the black epoxy flower buttons sent with the kit and backed it with a white felt flower tied on with black linen thread."

How easy was that card? And it's a stunna! Thank you for sharing this week Julie! I'm looking forward to next week with you.
