Export Ring Data
A new function has been added to the RingMaster's administration panel which allows for the downloading of a .csv or .txt file containing the list of members.

Possibility to change Password
You can now change your password yourself. To do so simply login to your account, and select the new Change password item.

NB: For security purpose and email validation, Ringsworld still issues a randomly selected password to new members and delivers it by email.

RingsWorld.com - New Site !
After a 4 year-long sleep, RingsWorld is back! Now RingsWorld has its own domain name, a new screen interface, new functions, and a lot of cleaning has been done to remove all the dust.

New Features:

• Friendly and shorter URLs:
  RingsWorld now has its own domain name. The URLs are shorter than in the past, and they are much more simple.

• Rings Directory:
  We created a Directory to sort Rings by themes. As a result, visitors can find Rings which interest them much more easily , and these Rings now have more exposure.

• Thumbnails:
  For each site, we try to display a thumbnail preview. These previews are rendered using our in-house technology, so there may still be some improvements to do.

• JavaScript or HTML Navigation Bar:
  RingMembers can now choose between two types of Navigation Bar ^<?> code. They can insert a Javascript code which allows the RingMaster to modify the look the Navigation Bar without the need for the RingMembers to update the code on their page. Or, for Webmasters who don't like Javascript, there is the offer to insert the raw HTML code for the Navigation Bar.

• New Management Panel:
  Now when you sign-in to access your RingMaster or RingMember account, you will be able to modify from a unique control panel all the Rings and Sites you manage.

• Totally New and Improved Interface:
  The Interface of RingsWorld has been totally redone, and is now cleaner and more beautiful (it's a matter of point of view). Also RingMasters can now add a logo/image to their Ring.

New server, New RingsWorld:
We moved RingsWorld to our own dedicated server. As a result we re-built RingsWorld entirely, with more freedom and flexibility. RingsWorld still has the same features, but with some new ones, such as the capability to search Rings and sites.

October, 1st 2000

RingsWorld made public:
Many people were interested by the features we had, so after receiving multiple queries, we decided to open RingsWorld to everyone who was interested in creating a web-ring community with our system.

September, 23rd 2000

Opening of RingsWorld:
RingsWorld was first created for our own use with the features we wanted.
